Gordon Mackinnon specialises in a portrait/photojournalist style, resulting in unique images, with a much more genuine sense of your special day and those memorable moments that make your wedding day so distinctive. Our style means that you do not have to endure the repetitive and outdated format of posing for formal images for long periods, which usually end up with artificial smiles and false expressions. However we realise that most clients do like some formal pictures, these will be taken, but in a more relaxed manner. Gordon and his assistant photographer will blend in with the wedding guests capturing moments as they happen, working quietly and unobtrusivley.
Now to the photography, using the latest high end digital equipment and state of the art computers, custom made images can be laid into handmade leather albums in a modern storybook style or matted into a more traditional style album. You will be amazed at the finished results, and according to your taste, they can contain a mixture of colour, black & white, sepia and hand coloured pictures.
All of your selected images can be displayed on our website with secure online ordering, for your guests to view at their leisure. This is particulary useful if you have relatives that live far away, and would like to see mementos of your magical day.
